Your privacy is important to us at Willards AB (Org. no: 556893-7634). This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal data when you visit our website, www.willards.se.
1. What data do we collect and why?
We process personal data for specific purposes and on the basis of different legal grounds.
AContact form and email
When you contact us via our contact form or by email, we collect the information you provide (such as name, email address, phone number and the content of your message).
To be able to respond to your enquiries, handle your case and to establish or maintain a business relationship.
Legitimate interest (to provide service and communicate with interested parties) or performance of a contract (if your enquiry leads to a business agreement).
BWebsite analytics (Umami Analytics)
We use Umami Analytics, a privacy-first analytics solution, to understand how visitors use our website. Unlike traditional analytics tools such as Google Analytics:
Umami does not use cookies to track visitors.
We do not collect IP addresses, fingerprints or other personally identifiable information.
No cross-site tracking or personal profiling.
What does Umami collect?
Umami only collects anonymous aggregated statistics:
- Page views and pages visited
- Referral sources (where visitors come from)
- Browser type and device (e.g. "Chrome on Desktop")
- General geographic information (country level only)
To understand how visitors use our website and improve the user experience.
Legitimate interest. Since Umami does not collect personal data and does not use cookies, no consent is required under GDPR.
CCookies
Our website is designed to be cookie-free by default. No cookies are set when you visit or browse willards.se. One exception exists: if you actively choose to start our virtual 360° tour (Matterport) on the "New Workshop" page, that service may set a cookie in your browser (see subsection D below).
No cookie banner by default:Since we do not set any cookies until you actively start a feature that requires it (e.g. the 3D tour), you will not be troubled by cookie banners just by browsing our website. Our other external references (such as maps) explicitly use cookie-free alternatives.
DVirtual 3D tour (Matterport)
The "New Workshop" page includes a clickable 360° tour provided by the third-party service Matterport. The tour does not load automatically when you visit the page – only if you actively click the preview image to start it.
What happens when you start the tour?
- Content is loaded from my.matterport.com, which means your IP address is sent to Matterport
- Matterport (via its infrastructure provider Cloudflare) sets a technical cookie for bot protection
- Some local storage is used so the tour can function in your browser
To let you experience an interactive 3D view of the workshop without visiting the site in person.

2. How long do we retain your data?
We do not retain your personal data longer than is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected.
Data submitted via contact forms is retained for as long as is necessary to handle the case and maintain the business relationship. Data that does not lead to an active relationship is deleted on a regular basis.
3. Who do we share your data with?

We may however share it with the following parties:
Contact forms on our website are handled by Netlify, which stores and forwards submitted data on our behalf. Netlify acts as a data processor and processes data in accordance with GDPR. Read more inNetlify's privacy policy.
Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). This means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when you visit the site, which may result in your IP address being logged by Google. No cookies are set in connection with this. Read more inGoogle's privacy policy.
Our contact page displays a static map image — no Google Maps code runs automatically. If you click the "View on map" or "Get directions" links, Google Maps will open in your browser, at which point Google's privacy policy applies to that session.
If you actively click to start the 360° tour on the "New Workshop" page, content is loaded from my.matterport.com. This means your IP address and some technical information is shared with Matterport and their infrastructure provider Cloudflare. Read more inMatterport's privacy policy.
4. Your rights under GDPR
You have a legal right to control your information. You have the right to:
Receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
Have your data deleted ("the right to be forgotten"), provided it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
Ask us to temporarily stop processing your data.
Withdraw any consent you have given at any time (e.g. for cookies).
Object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
Receive your data in a machine-readable format.

5. Managing your cookie preferences
Our website is built to be cookie-free by default, so in most cases there are no cookie settings you need to manage. The one exception is if you choose to actively start our virtual 360° tour (Matterport) on the "New Workshop" page – that service may then set a cookie. You can clear it at any time via your browser settings, or simply choose not to start the tour.
